Bellator News: Joey Davis signed the contract

Bellator announced the signing of a long-term contract with an outstanding wrestler and champion of NCAA Division II, Joey Davis. 21-year-old Davis fought in the Notre Dame College, where he earned an impressive record fighting 131-0. In addition, a four-time champion of NCAA Division II, becoming the only Division II fighter who won four titles and is unbeaten in his career. His  debut in the welterweight division at Bellator, will be held at the end of the year. Proclaimed "Man of the Year" 2016 years by USA Wrestling Magazine, a native of Compton, Calif Joey Davis began his domination in wrestling in the ninth grade, when he attended the Sante Fe High School. Davis was master of the State of California in the weight of 152 pounds (68.9 kg) in the junior category, and later in the seniors division won another state title in the weight of 160 pounds (72.5 kg) Davis will be trained in Antonio McKee's Body Shop Gym in Long Beach, California with his childhood friend and competitor Bellator featherweight AJ McKee (4-0). Joey Davis expanding circle of new talent acquired recently by Bellator including Matt Mitrione, Benson Henderson, Jarod Trice'a, Sergei Kharitonov and Darrion Caldwell and Michael Chandler of new contracts.
