UFC 192: Cormier after a fight with Gustafsson: "This is the biggest thrashing I ever had"

After the duel with Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 192, Daniel Cormier told how difficult it was for him to fight:

"- Everything hurts. I have to be honest and say the truth: this guy beat me tonight."

Daniel Cormier (17-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) fought with Alexander Gustafsson (16-4 MMA, 8-4 UFC) 25 minutes in a match that rate was the light heavyweight belt. The duel ended by judges decision, in favor of Cormier, who retained the title. Before the fight, Cormier was quite critical of Gustafsson saying that the Swede could return to their country and to be a model when he kills him. This talk was, however, only fueling the atmosphere in order to sell the fight. During the press conference after the ceremony, Cormier said that Gustafsson has gained his respect and made him a better fighter.
